Hi Im a single mom that just lost my job and on top of that my car just broke down. I desperately need help fixing my car so I can get back out there and get another job so Im able to pay my bills and support my kids. If you know anyone that can help PLEASE let me know. Hi im a single mother of a 12 yr old boy, who is disabled. My son has seizures tourettes syndrome asthma add/adhd and numerous allergies. Our car recently stopped running it needs a new engine since then I have had to walk 2 work and try to find rides for his medical appointments sometimes having to cancel because we cannot find a ride or do not have the money for a taxi. I feel as if I might be on the verge of losing my job because I sometimes cannot find a ride. i am a single mom of three. i have a 1996 dodge avenger that needs a hole fixed on my exhaust by the manifold. i only make enough money to pay rent,bills and feed my children and i. after that i have about twenty dollars for gas for the week to get back and forth to work. if anyone can help i would really appreciate it. feel free to email me or call. 8162773145. thankyou for your time. rachele frazee

I am a single mom of 2 small children. After a year of being homeless and sleeping in my car with my kids, I was able to get back on my feet and found a home for me and my kids. Unfortunately right before I found a home my car broke down and was taken to a repair shop where it has sat for almost a year now. It needs a new engine and the mechanic at the shop it has sat at all this time has been nice enough not to charge me for storage and wants me to either fix the car or get it towed away. Neither of which I can afford to do. Unfortunately the mechanic or the shop offers no finacial assistance. I have checked with other charities but they are either out of resources or I do not qualify for help because I do NOT make enough money and am NOT self sufficient enough for them. I have a part time job now and have to rely on rides from friends and family members. I could have more work and be better off if I had my own car back. I have a 1985 Mercedes Benz 380 SE that was a gift from some dear friends and I do not want to just throw it away. My car is currently in Van Nuys, Ca. and I am about 2 hours from there. If there is anyway anyone can help it would be a true blessing. This has been a long hardship for me.

I HAVE A 1999 JEEP THAT NEED A NEW RELEASE CABLE AND A LOOK AT MY TRANSMISSION. I HAD PLAN ON GETTING IT DONE WHEN I WENT BACK TO WORK AFTER THE SUMMER BUT WAS JUST COMPLETELY LAID OFF NOW I HAVE NO WAY TO GET BACK IN FORTH TO JOB INTERVIEWS FOR JOBS THAT I’M QUALIFIED FOR . Hi, my name is Jennifer I’m a mother of 3, ages 12,8,&5. I’ve been struggling at this single parent life for 4yrs now. After being walkd out on while unemployeed, w/o transportation, unable to support my children & no family to turn to, i managed to dig myself out of the pit of dependentcy i’d fallin into. Things were finally going great when 1day a man ran a red light & totalled my Explorer that i had just paid off, & things havnt gone well since. I was able to buy a clunker Escort &have repaired what feels like every part on it. In May, after repairing a series of parts, i was told the motor needs work. I was able to bum rides to work for 2wks arriving late almost daily, when i was let go. With no income, no public transportation in the rural area where i lived, i was forced to move & am now doubled up with a family i barely know. In addition, i’m also going through a divorce that is long over due, and in the middle of a custody battle that is chipping away at my hope. If there’s anyone who can help, HELP!

Hi my name is Jennifer, i posted back in October about needing the motor in my 95 escort repaired. I cant express how difficult its been trying to get from place to place, or even managing the smallest task like grocery shopping. Ive been unable to work for the last 7months due to the transportation issue and i fear i wont be able to keep things going for much longer unless im able to get this repaired.
